In the midst of health crisis during coronavirus outbreak, the Mines and Geosciences Bureau Regional Office No. V (MGB R.O.-V) building underwent disinfection as a preventive measure against Covid-19 in collaboration with the Bureau of Fire Protection Regional Office No. V (BFP R.O.-V) to contain the spread of COVID-19 within the government offices in the City.
RD Guillermo A. Molina, Jr. IV emphasized the importance of sanitation and disinfection within the office premises where co-workers come in unsafe distances. Disinfection measure is be performed in “high-touch” objects like tables, chairs, doorknobs, electrical switch, and computer keyboards, among others. Keeping the work-space clean and disinfected will minimize threats of viral infection in addition to the observance of health protocols and boosting immune system of every personnel will minimize the threats of viral infection.
Disinfection procedure is a monthly activity in partnership with the BFP R.O.-V and in line with the weekly clean-up of this Office.
