In its continuing effort to be ‘on track’, the Mines and Geosciences Bureau Regional Office No. V (MGB R.O.-V) orients its employees on Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS) on August 10, 2021.

Engr. Daniel S. Sombanon, the Chief Administrative Officer leads the SPMS orientation where he presented the detailed rules and guidelines in the preparation of SPMS and explained the four-stage cycle which consists of the following: 1. Performance planning and Commitment; 2. Performance monitoring and coaching; 3. Performance review and evaluation; and 4. Performance rewarding and development planning.

This orientation will help the employees to achieve the objectives set by the organization and to ensure organizational and individual effectiveness by cascading institutional accountabilities to the various levels of the organization.
